ANAA Gandaki Provincial Meet 2025 – Celebrating Connection, Collaboration & Community
Strengthening alumni connections across provinces to inspire innovation and community impact.
The ANAA Gandaki Provincial Meet 2025, held on 10 October in Pokhara, brought together Nepalese alumni of Australian universities for an inspiring afternoon of learning, networking, and collaboration. President Ananta Poudyal delivered a powerful message on how education, global exposure, and shared experiences can drive innovation and community transformation in Nepal. He highlighted ANAA’s vision of strengthening provincial networks, promoting Australia’s rich culture, and blending the best of Australian and Nepali values across education, entrepreneurship, and hospitality. We were honored to have the support of the Australian Embassy, whose continued partnership reinforces the strong Nepal–Australia relationship. The event gathered alumni from government, academia, development, private institutions, and civil society—creating a vibrant space for exchanging ideas and strengthening professional ties across the region. Our sincere appreciation goes to the esteemed panelists: Dr. Tanka Prasad Prasai, Dr. Mani Paneru, Mr. Bibek Poudel, Dr. Parbati Thapa, and Dr. Shishir Gokhle for their insightful contributions. We also thank Dylan Jones-Verma, Head of Development at the Australian Embassy, for his encouraging remarks. The meet concluded with Ms. Hema Bhatt’s closing note and a warm networking session over hi-tea—perfect for reconnecting and recharging the spirit of alumni collaboration. ANAA remains committed to building a stronger, more connected alumni community—one that shares knowledge, supports innovation, and contributes meaningfully to Nepal’s development journey.
